Aitor is a qualified lawyer specialised in international commercial law with a strong international background, including work and education experiences in Bilbao, Barcelona, Leuven and London.

In addition, he is a member (socio) of Athletic Club and a delegate in the club's general meeting (socio compromisario). He is a football passionate and occasional contributor to Athletic-related publications and Basque media such as Deia, Berria or Radio Popular-Herri Irratia. He has a particular interest in football heritage and Athletic's role and space within the Basque national movement.
