Josh Westerling
John is an erudite writer and one of Nigeria’s most prolific biographers. In 1990, he won the Radio Duetshe Welle Quiz Prize for Africa. He has written nine books and contributed to two others. His first book, a fictional story titled Berthing on a Threshold (2004), highlights the positive Indigenous responses to colonialism.
His second work, An Analytical Study Of Nigeria’s Football Development: 1959-2009, highlights the dynamics of Nigeria’s football development using the Vent for Surplus Theory as a basis for his submission.
In 2024, he authored the book Destined For Glory: The Football Story Of Stephen Okechukwu KeshiI: The Catalyst Of Nigeria’s Football Development. He has written and published football articles for World in Sport UK and Blizzard Magazine.
