Joe Jackson
Joe Jackson is Senior Lecturer in Communications and Media: Multimedia Production and Co-Lead of the Sonic Screen Lab at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London.
His debut book Kahlil Joseph and the Audiovisual Atlantic: Music, Modernity, Transmedia Art (2024) received Best First Monograph: Runner-Up 2025 from BAFTSS: British Association of Film, Television and Screen Studies.
Beyond teaching and research – and despite ‘getting on a bit’ – he still plays football two or three (mostly two) times a week. You can find out more about Joe’s work below.
