Chuck Carlson is an archivist in Chicago, IL, USA. He researches, presents and writes about soccer and social history with a focus on coal mining communities in the state of Illinois as well as Chicago.

He is a board member of Society for American Soccer History (S.A.S.H) and has written for numerous websites and print publications, most recently the Blizzard.
