Jock is still on cloud nine after Aberdeen’s Scottish Cup win on 24th May 2025. He is a long-term season ticket holder at Pittodrie and in addition supports the Granite City’s wee team Cove FC (he doesn’t recognise the 2nd part of their name!). Jock is also a Tartan Army foot soldier, and is looking forward to exorcising the ghost of St Etienne in 1998 over in Boston and Miami in summer 2025.

Jock is a regular contributor to Black & Gold. the quarterly magazine of Aberdeen Football Club Heritage Trust, and also to Groundtastic providing Scots News on stadium developments.

Jock had completed the “42” a couple of years ago but now needs to visit Lesser Hampden and K-Park to bag the current set along with Harmsworth Park to see a match at all the current Highland League grounds.
